2026 High School Dance Team Prep Clinic
For dancers in grades 6th – 11th
Hosted by Southeast Polk RhythAMetteS Dance Team
We are excited to offer a dance team prep clinic to prepare dancers who plan to audition for a high school dance team.
This prep clinic will be open to all prospective dancers in grades 6-11th from any school district or dance studio. We will focus on teaching skills such as high kicks, pom technique, and general expectations for high school dance teams. This is not meant to be in place of studio dance classes, rather to teach and review skills that are unique to high school dance teams and may not be taught at studios.
As part of the prep clinic registration, dancers will receive one Rhythamette Prep Clinic tank top. Unlike the elementary clinic (held the same day), there will not be a prep clinic performance for at a freshman football game.
Dance Clinic Date & Time: Saturday, October 10th, from 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
Location: The clinic will be at Southeast Polk High School
Cost: $50.00 per student. This includes the clinic and prep clinic tank top.
Attire: Dancers should wear black dancewear and any dance shoes (jazz shoes or turners). Please come with your hair pulled back.
Directors: RhythAMetteS coaches, Marianne Peterson, Stacey Bouchard, Angie Underwood, and Becca Templeton will direct the clinic. Members of the award-winning, state, regional, and national champion, Southeast Polk RhythAMetteS dance team will be assisting with the clinic.
Deadline: All registrations must be received by September 18, 2026.
